Complications from grass allergy can be relatively serious. The same grass pollen allergens can reach the lungs that may cause aggravated asthma condition and other respiratory disorders. Other diseases such as sinusitis (the inflammation or swelling of the sinus cavities) and nasal polyps (swelling of the mucous membrane lining of the nose) may also worsen by having grass allergy. In addition, infections on the ear, larynx, and bronchial tubes may also occur.
